Instructions for Placing Full-color Printing Orders

JLC3DP's full-color resin printing service is now officially online. In order to ensure that your printing files pass the review and quickly enter the production process, there are different review methods for different file formats.

1. Online ordering steps

For full-color resin printing, we require files in the following formats: OBJ + MTL + PNG images (4K resolution recommended), PLY, or 3MF/ZIP/RAR. Please generate one of the specified file types and submit it for a quotation on our website. We currently support direct uploads of 3MF, ZIP, and RAR files.

OBJ Format: Please compress your OBJ file, the corresponding MTL file, and one or more PNG texture images into a single ZIP/RAR archive, then upload the compressed package directly on the website.

Important: Ensure that you select full-color printing when placing your order.

File Review: After uploading, our engineering team will review the file to verify its accuracy and the feasibility of printing.

2. Email Supplementary Instructions

For orders requiring additional files, please email them to customer service at support@jlcpcb.com, including your account number.

PLY Format: If your color file uses a PLY file, please send the PLY file to customer service via email after submitting the STL order on the website for review and processing.

3. Order confirmation and production

After the file review is passed, the customer service staff will confirm the order information with you. After the order is confirmed, your model will enter the production process, and we will perform high-quality full-color 3D printing based on the files you provided.
