I consigned my parts to you. But why there is a need to bake them before putting into my private lib?

Thanks for your question.

For parts that are moisture-sensitive LEDs, modules etc. from global sourcing parts / consigned parts order, we recommend to bake the parts for 48 hours before depositing in customers' private lib. Because when the heat is high in PCBA production, there is a risk for this part to be deformed, false soldered and malfunctioning. The baking process can help reduce the risk, but it is not 100% guaranteed.

It will cost USD$ 8 around for baking 48 hours. Kindly check the cost instruction here: https://jlcpcb.com/help/article/63-Global-Sourcing-Parts-Order-Terms-&-Conditions Besides, due to the feature of consigned parts, we take no responsibilities for the part's quality and after-sale services.

Thank you for your support and understanding!
