Questions about JLC3DP Spray Painting
Last updated on Jul 24, 2026
JLC3DP spray painting service is online, and the answers to related questions are as follows:
1) JLC3DP spray painting/spraying is artificial spraying, and the effect will have some flaws, which is a non-industrial-grade effect.
2) Upon selecting the spray painting service, you can specify the painting scope: outer surface only, full inner and outer surfaces, or designated areas. If you choose designated areas for painting, please provide clearly marked 2D drawings in PNG, JPEG, or JPG format (max 10 MB) to indicate the target coating areas for our engineer's review.
3) To unify the color number standard, JLC3DP spray painting uses Pantone color number C card (glossy) and U card (matte) as reference standards.
4) Due to the display problem of the electronic screen, there will be color differences between the actual object and the picture. Please refer to the actual object.
5) Currently, JLC3DP's spray painting service offers the following colors (C: Glossy, U: Matte): Sky Blue, Silver, White, Red, and Black. Custom colors are not supported at this time. Additionally, our painting service exclusively supports single-color applications, meaning each part can be painted in only one color.
6) The estimated build time of the spray painting order is about 5 days. If you have any questions about the time, please contact customer support for communication and confirmation.
7) The thickness of the paint surface is about 0.1mm-0.2mm.
8) A 0.15mm-0.2mm assembly gap needs to be reserved for the assembly of the assembled model, and the thickness of the paint surface needs to be reserved on the basis of the assembly gap for the assembly of the spray paint/spray oil model assembly.
9) Humid weather will cause slight whitening of the paint (matte black, matte silver), and it is recommended to use glossy black and glossy silver.
10) Matte paint surface is easy to scratch without protective coating, which is not suitable for small batches. It is recommended to use glossy surface. (Matte black is more serious).
11) For nylon parts, only a matte finish is available; glossy surfaces are not supported for nylon materials at this time.
