We have optimized the rules for getting coupons on the JLC3DP model platform. It's easy! Just share your 3D printing project on our 3D Models page. Once your project is reviewed and displayed on the 3D Models page, your account will automatically receive a $5 3D printing coupon. If your model is featured, you'll receive a $20 coupon!

How to get Coupons at JLC3DP 3D model platform?

1. Click the 3D Models For Printing | Download - JLC3DP on navigation bar or the 3D model sharing banner to get into the 3D model page.

2. Click the upload button to get into the 3D model sharing page.

3. Upload your 3D CAD files(STL Recommended, STP, STEP, OBJ), and pictures accordingly and fulfill the needed project descriptions and information, then click the publish button, the whole sharing process is finished, just waiting for the audit.

4. The review time is usually completed within 24 hours. Once the 3D Model is displayed on our platform, it means the sharing is successful and the coupon will be automatically issued to your account, you can check it in your account center.

How to Get Your 3D Model Featured on JLC3DP?

To help your models get featured and earn more coupons, here are some tips for sharing high-quality 3D models:

Detailed Images

Printed Model Photos: Share photos of the actual printed model. This helps users see how the model looks when printed and provides a real-world perspective on its appearance and functionality. An engaging and interesting photo can greatly enhance user interest in your uploaded model!

Render Images: Include high-quality render images that showcase your model from different angles. These should highlight key features and design details.

Close-Up Shots: Provide close-up images of intricate parts or important details. This is especially helpful for complex models with fine features.

Model Description

Purpose and Application: Describe the primary use of your 3D model. Is it a functional part, a decorative item, a toy, or something else? Let users know how your model can be used in real life.

Design Inspiration: Share the story behind your model. What inspired you to create it? Whether it's based on a popular culture reference, a personal need, or a creative idea, providing context makes your model more engaging.

Material Recommendations: Suggest the best materials for printing your model. Mention any specific filaments (e.g., PLA, ABS, PETG) and their properties that make them suitable for your design.

How to make sure the model will pass the review?

1. For better presentation, make sure at least 2 pictures are uploaded.

2. Designs must represent a real, physical object that can be made.

3. Please only upload designs you've created or participated closely in creating.

4. You may upload open-source / copyleft designs if you provide attribution.

5. No pornographic or sexually explicit designs.

6. Please don't upload weapons. May the world peace forever!

7. It is forbidden to upload documents containing external download links, all files must be uploaded directly to JLC3DP.

8. Repeated uploads of the same model are not allowed, JLC3DP reserve the right to refuse to issue a voucher if similar circumstances are identified.

9. Uploaded models need to be kept on the platform for at least 3 months after the issuance of the discount coupon, if it is found that the deletion of the work occurs as soon as the coupon is issued,JLC3DP reserve the right to refuse to issue a voucher if similar circumstances are identified.

10. All files uploaded to the JLC3DP model platform can be downloaded and ordered on JLC3DP by default.
