What is the minimum width of thin PCB sections?

What is the minimum allowed width of the connecting strips, as indicated by the arrows? Does the answer change if assembly is required?

When making designs like this, is there a requirement to keep the inner parts present and connected by mouse bites for strength / reinforcement? Example:
