Powered by a fleet of industrial high-temperature 3D printers, the new service enables online ordering of PEEK and PEKK parts for demanding engineering and production applications.

[September 9, 2026] INTAMSYS, a provider of industrial FFF/FDM 3D printing solutions, and JLC3DP, an online 3D printing service provider, today announced the launch of PEEK and PEKK 3D printing services on the JLC3DP platform.

The new service combines INTAMSYS FUNMAT high-temperature 3D printing systems with JLC3DP’s digital manufacturing platform and production operations. Customers can now upload 3D models, get online quotes, and order PEEK and PEKK parts through JLC3DP.

The production line is designed not only for high-performance polymers such as PEEK and PEKK, but also for a broad range of engineering materials, including PPA-CF, PA12-CF, PC-ABS, ABS, and ABS-ESD. This multi-material equipment configuration enables JLC3DP to support both high-performance and engineering-material applications within an integrated production workflow.

From High-Performance Materials to Production-Scale Manufacturing

PEEK and PEKK are high-performance thermoplastics that present significant challenges in FFF/FDM processing. Successful production requires precise control of thermal conditions, material handling, crystallization behavior, and interlayer bonding.

To support production at scale, JLC3DP has deployed dozens of INTAMSYS FUNMAT PRO 610HT systems, supported by 20+ FUNMAT PRO 310 APOLLO and 310 NEO systems. Different systems are assigned to different part sizes, materials, and production requirements, enabling JLC3DP to flexibly allocate production capacity across high-performance and engineering-material applications.

FUNMAT PRO 610HT

The FUNMAT PRO 610HT is designed for large-format, high-temperature applications, with a build volume of 610 × 508 × 508 mm. It supports high-performance materials including PEEK, PEKK, PEI, and PPA-based materials, making it suitable for large and complex engineering components.

Its actively heated chamber can reach up to 300℃, providing controlled thermal conditions for high-performance polymer printing and helping reduce warping and other thermal-related deformation in large parts.

FUNMAT PRO 310 APOLLO

funmat pro 310apollo

The FUNMAT PRO 310 APOLLO is designed for high-speed production of high-performance materials, including PEEK and PEKK. Its build volume is up to 305 × 260 × 260 mm in single-nozzle mode, with IDEX technology supporting independent dual extrusion as well as mirror and duplicate printing modes.

With a chamber temperature of up to 100℃ and a maximum nozzle temperature of 450℃, APOLLO provides the thermal control required for demanding high-performance polymer applications. It supports print speeds of up to 200mm/s for PEEK, significantly increasing production throughput while maintaining the process control required for high-performance materials.

FUNMAT PRO 310 NEO

The FUNMAT PRO 310 NEO complements the high-temperature production line by supporting a broad range of engineering and standard materials, including PA12-CF, PA6/66, PC, PC/ABS, ABS, PLA, and PPA-CF.

Together, the three printer platforms create a flexible equipment matrix that allows JLC3DP to match different materials and part requirements with appropriate production capacity.

Built for Consistency Across a Printer Fleet

Moving from individual prototype production to repeatable manufacturing requires more than high-performance equipment. It requires standardized processes, consistent machine operation, production scheduling, and quality control.

JLC3DP’s production model combines the INTAMSYS FUNMAT platform with a standardized digital manufacturing workflow designed to support repeatable production across multiple machines.

Key capabilities include:

  • Fleet-level production: Multiple industrial printers can operate in parallel to support different order volumes, materials, and part sizes.
  • Standardized process parameters: Material and machine combinations are validated and managed through defined process parameters before being made available for customer orders.
  • Production scheduling: Orders are allocated according to production requirements, material type, machine availability, and priority.
  • Quality control: Production is supported by dimensional inspection, in-process sampling, and final visual inspection to maintain consistent quality across batches.
  • Process traceability: INTAMSYS’ INTAMQuality™ process quality traceability system provides visibility into key production data, including material batches, nozzle and chamber temperature profiles, and environmental conditions. Layer-by-layer monitoring and cross-batch production data comparison help support consistent production across the printer fleet, extending quality management beyond final-part inspection toward greater process transparency and traceability.

One Digital Workflow for High-Performance Polymer Parts

One of the key advantages of the new service is the integration of PEEK and PEKK printing into JLC3DP’s existing online manufacturing workflow.

Engineers can upload a 3D model, select the required material and manufacturing options, obtain an online quotation, place an order, and track production and delivery through the digital platform.

The same workflow can be used across JLC3DP’s broader portfolio of 3D printing technologies and materials, allowing customers to evaluate PEEK and PEKK alongside other production options based on their application requirements.

For engineers working on low-volume, high-value, or complex parts, this provides a more streamlined path from digital design to functional components.

Designed for Demanding Engineering Applications

PEEK and PEKK are widely used where a combination of mechanical performance, thermal resistance, chemical resistance, and low weight is required.

Potential applications for PEEK and PEKK 3D printed parts include:

  • Aerospace: Lightweight brackets, cable-management components, UAV structural parts, and other components requiring high-performance thermoplastics.
  • Semiconductor and electronics manufacturing: Fixtures, test components, connector-related parts, and other applications requiring thermal and chemical resistance.
  • Energy and battery systems: Insulating components, structural parts, and components exposed to elevated temperatures or chemically demanding environments.
  • Oil, gas, and chemical processing: Functional components and tooling for demanding chemical and operating environments.
  • Robotics and automation: Lightweight structural components, end-effectors, housings, and sensor mounts where high strength-to-weight performance is important.
  • General industrial manufacturing: Custom tooling, fixtures, wear-resistant components, seals, and other functional parts.

Material selection and part performance should be evaluated according to the specific material grade, printing process, geometry, and application requirements.

A Joint Step Toward More Accessible High-Performance 3D Printing

“Moving from being able to print PEEK to producing PEEK parts consistently at scale requires more than simply adding machines,” said Charles, CEO of INTAMSYS. “It requires a complete manufacturing system covering process control, quality management, material handling, and production scheduling. Our collaboration with JLC3DP brings these capabilities together to make high-performance polymer 3D printing more accessible to engineers and manufacturers.”

“Adding PEEK and PEKK to the JLC3DP platform expands the range of materials available to engineers through our online manufacturing workflow,” said Annie, Marketing Manager at JLC3DP. “Our goal is to make advanced manufacturing capabilities easier to access while maintaining the process consistency and digital experience our customers expect. This launch is an important step in expanding our high-performance polymer capabilities.”

Production Capacity and Online Availability

The new PEEK and PEKK services are supported by a fleet of INTAMSYS FUNMAT printers deployed within JLC3DP’s production network.

The equipment configuration includes FUNMAT PRO 610HT, FUNMAT PRO 310 APOLLO, and FUNMAT PRO 310 NEO systems, providing different production capabilities for large-format high-performance parts, high-throughput PEEK/PEKK applications, and engineering-material production.

PEEK and PEKK 3D printing services are now available through JLC3DP. Customers can upload their 3D models, select PEEK or PEKK, and obtain an online quotation.
