JLC3DP offers two 3D printing surface finish options:
Yes – Sanding (General sanding)
Includes sanding and bead blasting by default. Black resin and Imagine black resin prints will also be oil-treated. The surface is clean, smooth, and pleasant to the touch. Learn more: resin 3D prints with and without surface treatment
No – Without sanding
Only support removal is applied, no sanding by default.The surface may have visible support marks, appear rough, and feel coarse to the touch.

There are multiple options to save on 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing costs, here are some of the most common for your references.
1.Changing the 3D printing processing technology and materials, based on the most suitable material and technology for your project.
2.Rescaling the model into a smaller dimension if it is only for a displaying and non-functional use.
3.Hollowing out 3D files can reduce material for your parts. (Escape holes are required)
4.Tall/large/long parts can be cut and run in sections to reduce build cost and shipping cost.

Generally, 3D resin print can be painted, but the print has to be sanded further to make it much smoother and a primer has to be applied to make sure that the paint will stick properly and more durably to the surface of the print. Yes, parts of our resin materials (Ledo6060 Resin and 9600 Resin) are supported for spray painting. For more details, please also check the spray painting descriptions on JLC3DP website below.
